All EP096AT tripods use waterproof connectors with IP65 protection rating. This allows the tripod itself to be removed and inserted into a different socket for another discipline [as required for Skeet, for example, or Olympic Trench] or stowed away properly when not in use.

The contacts of the connector are large in order to have an excellent conduction for the micro-signals produced by the microphone and therefore always guarantee, in all environmental conditions, an excellent sensitivity by the EP095M control unit.
