Optical Transducer – EP096 TX1

The Multi-Pull System provides that the Data Connections between the shooting ranges and the Data Concentrator can take place, as well as via cable, also via Optical Fiber. The use of optical fiber guarantees high immunity to atmospheric discharges which can create considerable damage in electronic equipment. Elettronica Progetti has therefore developed special transducers of the optical / electrical type to connect the equipment of the Multi-Pull system to 50/125 multimode fibers, the main feature of which is simplicity and significantly lower cost than that of similar commercial transducers.

The models available are:

• EP096TX1 Optical Transducer: composed of a transmitter used to connect the EP095M control unit to the optical fiber directed towards the Data Concentrator
• EP096TX1-RX1 Optical Transducer: composed of a transmitter used to connect the EP095M control unit to the optical fiber directed towards the Data Concentrator and a receiver to connect the Data Concentrator to any Field Display Board
• EP096TX4-RX4 Optical Transducer: composed of 4 transceivers to connect the Data Concentrator to the firing fields (4-field version)
• EP096TX8-RX8 Optical Transducer: composed of 8 transceivers to connect the Data Concentrator to the firing fields (8-field version)

All these optical transducers are made with watertight containers where the optical fibers can be connected through ST-type optical connectors. The outputs to the units of the Multi-Pull system are equipped with connectors for immediate and simple connection.
